Cabell Huntington Hospital is donating trauma kits to help officers control potentially life threatening bleeding as a result of various types of trauma they may encounter. Extensive education and training is also being provided by the hospital to ensure proper use.

CHH has received Chest Pain Accreditation with PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) Accreditation from the Society of Chest Pain Centers (SCPC). This accreditation demonstrates expertise in caring for patients who arrive at the hospital with symptoms of a heart attack.

The ECCC Diagnostic Breast Center has earned the Breast Imaging Center of Excellence recognition from the American College of Radiology (ACR). The center is the only one in the Tri-State and only the third in the state of West Virginia.
