Cabell Huntington Hospital is hosting a Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification Review Course from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 29 & 30, 2012 in the Harless Auditorium. This two-day course is an overview of interventions that medical-surgical nurses use to promote quality of life for their clients. Taking this course will provide those taking the medical-surgical certification exam with information necessary for success and will include practice exam questions. For those not taking the test, the course provides an excellent review of the body systems and nursing interventions used, as well as objective and subjective data to gather.
The course will be presented by Renee Thompson, MSN, RN, CMSRN, a speaker, trainer, consultant and career coach, who has worked as an education consultant for a large tertiary hospital in Washington, DC and as a corporate director for the UPMC Health System in Pittsburgh, PA, where she developed student and graduate nurse programs.
The two-day program is free to Cabell Huntington Hospital employees and $200 for all others. For more information, please contact Jennifer Murray, MSN, RN, at 304-526-2313 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
