CHH's MRI Department earns accreditation
The Radiology Department at Cabell Huntington Hospital has earned accreditation from the American College of Radiology for the hospital's 3T MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) technology. Cabell Huntington Hospital added the 3T MRI technology in 2008 as a second, and more advanced, service to provide physicians with more detailed images of a patient's anatomy. In awarding this three-year accreditation, the American College of Radiology evaluated the qualifications of the hospital's radiology personnel and the quality of the equipment to ensure patients receive the highest quality care possible.
