Samrina Hanif, MD, a fellowship-trained neurologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy, has joined the medical staffs at Cabell Huntington Hospital and the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. Dr. Hanif earned her medical degree at Dow Medical University in Karachi, Pakistan, and she completed her residency at New York Medical College in Manhattan. Her fellowship training in epilepsy/clinical neurophysiology was completed at Vanderbilt University.
Dr. Hanif treats general neurologic conditions in adults and children. Her special interests include refractory epilepsy and treating children with autism and epilepsy. She is accepting new adult and pediatric patients in the Epilepsy and Seizure Center at Cabell Huntington Hospital and Marshall Neuroscience, along with Dr. Sona Shah and Dr. Mitzi Payne.
