A group of Huntington High School students plan to use cupcakes to raise money and sweeten up supporters of the Cabell Huntington Children's Hospital project. KupCakes for Kids will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Pullman Square on the stage near the fountain. Huntington High students Jasmine Scott, Jessica Scott, Elise Steele, Abigail Hensley and Alexis MacGregor will have decorated cupcakes for sale and undecorated cupcakes available for hands-on customized decorating just in time for Easter.
The students presented their idea to Cabell Huntington Hospital Foundation officials as a way for kids to help kids in the fundraising for the Children's Hospital project. The students will be joined by Cabby the Koala, Cabell Huntington Hospital's mascot.
