SeniorFets 2011Take charge of your health at SeniorFest 2012 by learning about diseases and conditions that affect seniors, taking advantage of free screenings and enjoying food, games and fun! Special activities taking place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. include:

  • Free PSA blood test prostate screening for men, our last prostate screening in 2012
  • Free Vitamin D blood test screening for women
  • Free flu shots and Tdap immunizations from the Cabell-Huntington Health Department
  • Brown bag medication reviews
  • AmeriHeart, a walk-through heart exhibit displaying heart anatomy and heart disease

The schedule for physician presentations will be announced. Topics include:

  • Dr. Frank Shuler: Taking Charge of Your Bone Health
  • Dr. Charles McCormick: Aging & Brain Health
  • Dr. Shawn McKinney: Breast Cancer
