Plastic surgeons Keith D. Pitzer, MD, and Farid Mozaffari, MD, have joined the Cabell Huntington Hospital Medical and Dental Staff and the Department of Surgery at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine.
Dr. Pitzer earned his medical degree from the Wake Forest University School of Medicine and completed a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Scott and White Hospital at Texas A & M University. He has a specific surgical interest post-bariatric contouring, cancer reconstructive surgery, breast surgery, aesthetic surgery, skin cancer surgery and facial rejuvenation.
Dr. Mozaffari earned his medical degree from Cambridge Medical Training Programme at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. He completed a general surgery residency at the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University and a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Ga. Dr. Mozaffari's surgical interests include pediatric and craniofacial surgery, post-bariatric surgery, body contouring and aesthetic surgery.
