With family, work, community and social obligations, life can get hectic. Cabell Huntington Hospital and Marshall Health offer patients myHealthFile, a free tool to help manage their health online. myHealthFile is your patient portal— a secure website that gives you convenient, 24-hour access to your personal health information from anywhere with an internet connection. Why not try it and simplify your life?

What You Can Do

myHealthFile offers the convenience of managing your health online. You can use the website to:

  • Access records from recent doctor and/or hospital visits
  • Review certain test results; some results are only released by your doctor
  • Request non-urgent appointments*
  • Exchange secure e-mail with your doctor’s staff*
  • Pay your bills
  • Maintain lists of medications, immunizations, allergies, etc.

* Currently only available to patients of Marshall Health. Capabilities will be expanded in the future.

Family Members & Dependents

You can use myHealthFile to manage the care of your loved ones as well, including:

  • minor dependents
  • dependent adults age 18 and older
  • adult patients who want to grant access to another adult, such as an adult daughter who helps manage the care of her mother.

Using myHealthFile to view another patient's information is called proxy access, and your options include:

  • as the primary custodian, who acts on behalf of the patient, or
  • as a custodian, with read-only access.

You can learn more about proxy access by reviewing the myHealthFile FAQs.

To Enroll

To enroll in myHealthFile, you must be a recent patient at Cabell Huntington Hospital or Marshall Health and/or associated facilities. For security purposes, your PIN (personal identification number) must be assigned in person.
