Cabell Huntington Hospital named to Forbes’ 'America’s Best-In-State Employers 2025' list

Marshall Health Network-Cabell Huntington Hospital (CHH) was named among America’s Best-In-State Employers for 2025 by Forbes in a list published Thursday.

CHH is one of 20 employers in West Virginia and one of only five health care and social service providers in the state to be named to the list. This is the fourth time CHH has received this recognition.

Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to survey more than 160,000 employees working for companies with at least 500 people within the United States. Survey participants were asked how likely they were to recommend their employer on a scale of 0 to 10. Respondents are asked about atmosphere and development, diversity, salary and wages, and working conditions.

Respondents were also asked to evaluate employers they’d worked for within the past two years, and organizations they knew within their industry or through friends or family who worked there. Responses were then tallied and incorporated into a scoring system, along with survey data from the past three years. Greater weight was given to the more recent data and the responses from current employees within the state.
